President Patrice Majondo-Mwamba.

Patrice Majondo-Mwamba was born in the Congo, formerly know as Zaire, in 1979. He is the son of Alphonsine Bibomba-Mwamba and Leon Bululu Mwamba. Mwamba has two brothers and 4 sisters. Mwamba was educated in Brussels, Belgium. When he was 21, he joined his cousins, Loliki Bongo-Wanga and Eric Indenge in Atlanta Georgia. When Mwamba arrived in the United States in 2000, he did not speak a word of english, and therefore attended Georgia Tech, where he took his first english class. While attending a spring bowl practice at Georgia Tech, Mwamba got his first look at American football, and wanted to be a part of it. Coach George O'Leary told Mwamba that he would need to attend a junior college because the level at which Georgia Tech played was to intense for someone who had never played football.

Mwamba, Hartnell College 2002His cousins had since moved on to a junior college in Salinas, California, and invited Mwamba to join them, as they were playing football at the time. Mwamba left Georgia to join his cousins at Hartnell College. While observing his cousins at their football practice, he was invited by coach Larry Souza to join the team.

Willy Bongo-Boloweti, Patrick Mugalu, Patrice Majondo-Mwamba, Winners of the Lions Bowl Hartnell College 2002Mwamba joined the football team in 2001, and with limited english and absolutely no American football experience, Mwamba became a member of the JUCO Top 100, and was First-Team All-Conference. During his last season Hartnell won the junior college Lion's Bowl. Mwamba was then recruited by Cal, Oregan, Oregan State, San Diego State, and Penn State.

Mwamba chose to play out his college football career at Texas Tech University, where he earned a full scholarship. Patrice majored in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in International Business. While at Texas Tech University Mwamba participated in winning bowl games including the 2002 Tangerine Bowl, TT 55  Clemson 15, 2003 Houston Bowl, TT 38 Navy 14, and the 2004 Pacific Holiday Bowl , TT 45 Cal 31. 

Denver Broncos training camp 2005After graduating Texas Tech University, Mwamba was invited to NFL Europa to play for Rhein Fire. After his season in NFL Europa he was signed as a free agent by the Denver Broncos and was with the Denver Broncos for the 2005 season. The Denver Broncos allocated Mwamba to NFL Europa for the off season where he joined the Amsterdam Admirals.

2005 Amsterdam AdmiralsIn his second season at NFL Europa he was part of World Bowl XIIV which was NFL Europe's 2006 championship game. It was played at the LTU arena in Düsseldorf Germany. The Amsterdam Admirals lost to the Frankfurt Galaxy. After his experience in NFL Europa, Mwamba returned to training camp 2006 with the Denver Broncos.

Deborah, Dallas Clark, and Patrice at Super Bowl XLIMwamba was married in July of 2006, and he and his wife Deborah welcomed their first son in November of 2007. Mwamba continues to focus on his family owned business, Corner of Brussels, a European Café in Denver, Colorado and Group Malaïka World in Canada which is operated by Hervé Wa Mwamba. He also has been involved in business in the Congo and in Brussels, Belgium.

While in Germany with NFL Europa, Mwamba had the opportunity to meet Paul McCartney and participate in a fund-raiser for Aegus Trust, an independent, international organisation, dedicated to eliminating genocide.

Patrice Majondo-MwambaWhile Mwamba was with the Denver Broncos, he particpated in a number of diverse charity events. Mwamba's main focus remains his family and the Mwamba Family Foundation's cause and vision.
